Lover's kin assaults the 19-year old girl

Hyderabad: Two persons, who allegedly tore the dress of their brother’s girlfriend and abused her in vulgar language were arrested by the Malkajgiri police on Tuesday.

According to the police, the 19-year-old victim, a resident of APIIC Colony in Moula Ali, complained that her boyfriend’s brothers D. Matthew, 26, and D. John, 24, had misbehaved with her. The victim along with her boyfriend were living in the latter’s home after her parents asked her to leave the house when told them that she would like to marry him.

On Monday evening, Matthew and John, elder siblings of the victim’s boyfriend, opposed her living in their house without getting married. They allegedly abused the victim and tore her dress while threatening to vacate the house immediately.

The police said that based on the complaint, a case of outraging the modesty of a woman was registered and the accused were arrested on Wednesday.
