Lake police rescued three people in Hussain Sagar

Lake police rescued three people who attempted to commit suicide in Hussain Sagar lake on Tuesday.

A 25 year old woman from Nallakunta jumped into the water after midnight on Monday after fighting with her sister. Officials said that she was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment for the same.

In another incident late on Monday a 27-year-old man jumped into water in an inebriated state but was rescued by the cops in time. He  is a labour residing in Narayanguda and was habituated to alcohol. On Tuesday morning a 23-year-old unemployed man jumped into lake from Brahman Naidu statue after his relationship with a woman was called off by the woman.

The man is a resident of Malkajgiri. All the rescued persons were counselled by the Lake police.
