T Harish Raowho is the Irrigation Minister of Telangana gave new definition to CM KCR. Harish said the new abbreviation of KCR is - K means Kaluvalu (Canals), C - Cheruvulu( Ponds) and R for Reservoirs.He discovered the meaning of KCR recognising the CM's effort in strengthening irrigation system by taking up the construction of canals and reservoirs and the revival of abandoned ponds under Mission Kakatiya.
The minister said people of Telangana will not forget KCR for centuries as the construction of Kaleshwaram project brought international recognition to Telangana. The project is considered one of the largest irrigation schemes in the world. Eom
