Blackberry islands and Pandavula Gutta has gained a lot of popularity

In a bid to attract more tourists to the heritage city and develop ecotourism, the district administration is contemplating introducing night camping at the scenic Dharmasagar lake.

The site is near a lake situated 20 km from Warangal city and surrounded by dense jungles. It is close to the under-construction Warangal outer ring road.Night camping at Laknavaram lake, Blackberry islands and Pandavula Gutta has gained a lot of popularity with tourists from across the country showing interest in spending a night in the lap of nature.

“As per the instructions of the district collector, we have identified a place near Dharmasagar lake where we can introduce night camping. It is a place  where one can enjoy complete serenity,” district tourism consultant P. Aravind said.
